Accessorizing withTurquoise & Orange

A few days ago I shared about the roman shade I made in the kids’ bathroom. Another project I worked on was spray painting a few little pieces that will either stay in the window or go on the floating shelves that aren’t born yet!  With this project I discovered Valspar spray paint.  Wow, this stuff is awesome.  In fact, I knew I wanted to go with turquoise & orange in there, but there are so many shades of turquoise.  So I did buy the paint first then I took it to JoAnn’s & found the fabulous fabric for the roman shade & they match really nicely. You may think I’ve chosen a couple of really bold colors & I have. There are a couple of things that makes it work.  One, the walls are neutral.  Second, I’m only using small amounts.  Especially since it’s a small room.  A little bit goes a long way! Don’t forget, I’ll be revealing the total room “after” pics soon!
