Destination Signs

This project is currently at the top of my favorites list! I had the idea of putting some of our vacation destinations on signs as part of the decor in the kid’s bathroom redo. I had envisioned them on one wall (above the towel rack). But my husband suggested we put them in the corner. I’m so glad he did. I love the result!
My husband cut the pieces of wood with alternating points on one end of each piece as our arrow or pointer.  I used a stain called “driftwood”  that gave the wood a nice aged gray look.  I gave the wood a couple of good coats.  I then chose fonts I thought were appropriate for each destination.  After printing them out & transferring the letters like I’ve talked about in another post.  (Check it out by clicking here).
I then used my white paint marker & filled in the letters.  My husband used screws & attached them to alternating on opposite walls in the corner.

Thank you for your comments! I will treat them like the precious gift they are!
